What kinds of counseling services do you provide?
I provide counseling services to individuals and couples who are experiencing challenges in relationships, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, caring for elderly parents, marital issues, traumas and sexual addiction.
What insurances do you take?
I am an in network provider for Medical Mutual of Ohio and Front Path.
How often should I come to counseling?
The frequency of the sessions is determined on an on-going basis.
Recommendations are given, but the client makes the decision.
How long are the sessions? What does it cost?
The term “clinical hours” is used to describe the length of time for a session. This generally indicates a 45 to 50 minute time frame, however, I have found it to be beneficial to allot more time. The first session is 75 minutes in length and the fee is $160. Subsequent sessions are 60 minutes in length with a fee of $125.
My spouse is not interested in marriage counseling, but I am. May I come alone?
Yes, it is not necessary for both spouses to participate. One person can make a difference.
Would you work with my child? My teen?
My work with children and teens is limited to Splankna therapy. If you are seeking other treatment modalities, I have referral partners I know and trust who have this expertise.
Can you prescribe medication?
No. Counselors are not licensed to prescribe medications.
